Our Process

Depending on the type of project the actual process can vary, however there are a few key steps that take place in every project, whether it’s a website, animation, or brochure. At EGO Healthcare we strive to complete projects that satisfy all goals and go beyond expectations, and by following these steps we enable successful projects for both the client and the team.

Steps to success:

  • Discovery
During the discovery stage we meet with the client to define the project, its goals, purpose, objectives, requirements and any underlying policies or restrictions.

  • Strategy
Once the project has been defined we work on the best strategy of achieving the goals and requirements, and determine the scope of the project. This can include what types of technology to use, how to make use of the time available and proper use of resources available from the client. Client approval of project initiation including any signed contracts or NDA's are collected at this time.

  • Planning
The Planning stage involves turning the strategy into a roadmap to success for the project. If this were a Web development project we would build the Architecture for the site, for animations we would develop the storyboard, and for development projects we create the specifications document. All timelines and deliverables are also set during this stage to ensure a smooth project completion. It is necessary to receive client approval of all planning documents at this point.

  • Design
The design process involves making decisions about not only how a piece looks but also how all elements and components will be constructed and interact with each other. Depending on the type of project there can be multiple design choices created for client approval, or just one. During the design process marketing, usability and branding come together to create the look and feel for the project.

  • Implementation
Implementing the design involves the actual mechanics of making the piece. For web projects this means web development, for traditional projects it could be print layout or video editing. Once in the Implementation stage its all about the nuts and bolts of developing our actual project, following the design and road map laid out and previously approved. There can be multiple approval levels during implementation, as well as asset collection from the client, depending on the size and scope of the project.

  • Validation
Validation includes all quality assurance and verification of proper requirement completion. At this stage it is expected that there will be small tweaks and adjustments to the final project to make sure it aligns with all defined expectations. Final client approval of a successful project completes the validation stage.

  • Delivery
After final approval the project is delivered to the client or deployed to the appropriate audience. Web based projects are pushed live to the web or launched, while traditional projects are delivered in their approved format. A wrap up meeting with the client is then scheduled for final project assessment, success tracking or potential next phases.
